Teaching Philosophy: Her students are always at the center of her classes. She has a goal to meet every student where they are at, and help them to reach their goals.
Bio: Cass Rompala grew up training in ballet/pointe, jazz, modern, hip hop, breaking, and house styles in West Chester, PA, whilst performing with a non-profit dance group whose mission was to bring dance into the community. They studied Psychology and Dance at the University of Pittsburgh, while also serving in leadership positions in both the Pitt Dance Ensemble and Pitt’s Hip Hop Crew.
Since graduating, she has performed with Balance Dance Company, Signature Company of West Chester Dance Works, Flair Dance Crew, and currently with Urbanity 2, We The Females, and Fusion Dance Collective. Additionally, she has presented choreographic work in shows in the Philadelphia and Boston areas, choreographed for music videos, competed at World of Dance, and taken classes internationally. Cass has been teaching for over 10 years, and loves to fuse their modern, contemporary, hip hop, and house backgrounds in class. She is also a certified Group Fitness Instructor with the American Council of Exercise, and enjoys incorporating science-backed warmups and cool downs into class. Cass also serves as the Executive Administration Manager for Urbanity.
