Bio: Minami Kikuchi is a dancer, choreographer, and educator from Yokohama, Japan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and began her training at Lufairy Ballet before specializing in modern and contemporary dance. She created her first choreographic work at the age of 15 and has continued developing her artistic practice in the United States.
Her choreography Invisible Things premiered at the American College Dance Association Conference, and "BODY" was recognized at the Modern American Dance Company's Dare to Dance Festival. In 2024, she joined the Urbanity Dance faculty and was selected for the Rhode Island Women Choreography Project's Choreographer Residency, where she premiered "ONE." She also performed solo roles in Urbanity Dance's 2024 and 2025 Fall Dance Crawl productions, "Go. Stop. Listen. Still. Wait. Go. " and "Dear Chat, Make It Human."
