Haley Andrews
Bio: Originally from South Shore Massachusetts, Haley Andrews (she/her) is a queer freelancing dance artist, choreographer, and educator. Haley established her project based contemporary dance collective in 2018, Andrews Movement. Since, she has showcased her choreography at BandChicago Dance Festival - Hubbard Street Dance (2019), Versatility Dance Fest - Colorado & California (2019), Mash Up Dance’s International Women’s Day Festival - California (2022), Ballet Rhode Island - RI Women’s Choreography Project (2022 & 2023), Providence College Undergraduate Concert - Rhode Island (2023), Salve Regina University Undergraduate Concerts - Rhode Island (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), Small Plates Choreography Festival - New York (2025), Berlin Dance Film Festival - Berlin, Germany (2026).
Haley danced with T2 Dance based out of Boulder, CO for two seasons, until moving back East in 2020. In 2022 she had the pleasure of dancing the lead role in Jessi Stegall's work The Theremin Vignettes that was selected the following year as part of the Global Arts Live Series hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA. She has had the pleasure of performing live works by Shura Baryshnikov, Emily Schoen Branch, Jon Lehrer, Jackie Nowicki, Spencer Gavin Herin, Ali Brodski, Mike Esperanza, Lindsay Guarino, and more.
Haley spent the past four years on staff at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI teaching contemporary dance, and is known around Rhode Island, and the greater Boston area for her rigorous Adult Drop-In style Contemporary classes. Last year she was awarded The Next Steps for Boston Dance grant from the Boston Foundation, and is an active member of the 2025 cohort. These funds helped launch the Andrews Movement Tiny Dances Collection, a collection of short dance films that shine light on social and political inequities. The premier video of this collection "Ugly Nasty" is a 2026 selection at the Berlin Dance Film Festival in Berlin, Germany. Haley continues to build repertoire for Andrews Movement, and is actively showcasing work throughout the 2026 season. Currently Haley is attending Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in London England pursuing a Masters in Choreography.
