The Foundation Trust Teen Artist Fellowship at Urbanity Dance
Are you a teen dancer with big creative ideas? Do you love choreographing or want to learn how to make your own dances? This mentorship program is your chance to explore your voice as a choreographer, get guidance from a professional artist, and create something that’s all your own.
About the Program
The Foundation Trust Teen Artist Fellowship at Urbanity Dance is a paid, eight-month opportunity for one teen artist to develop their own choreography with personalized mentorship and support.
When: January 2026 – August 2026
Commitment: About 5 hours each week, this can be flexible and work around your schedule
Pay: $17/hour
Where: Urbanity Dance
Those five hours can include rehearsing or building choreography, taking class, or meeting with your mentor. Urbanity’s studios will be open for your creative use. You’ll also receive up to two hours of direct mentorship each week to help you plan, experiment, and refine your ideas.
The program will end with a live showing where you can share what you’ve created with the community.

Miranda will guide you through the process of creating original choreography, offering feedback and creative tools to help you grow as an artist. Click here to learn more about Miranda and her work.
