Summer programs at Urbanity offer a fantastic opportunity to explore a wide variety of dance styles, taught by diverse teaching artists in Boston, all who share the joy of dance while teaching the fundamentals of a range of styles.

Half Day Programs:

• Half Day Kids Dance Program (Ages 3.5-7): June 15-19, August 24-28 and August 31-Sept 4 (full week or single day registrations available)

  • Morning session 9:00am-12:30pm

  • Afternoon session 1:00pm-4:30pm

  • Extended Day Add-ons 8-9am and 4:30-5:30pm through Urbanity.

• Half Day Primary Dance Program (Ages 6-11): June 22-26, July 13-17 and July 20-24 (full week or single day registrations available)

  • 9am-1:30pm; Extended Day Add-on 8-9am

Full Day Programs:

• Full Day Primary Dance Program, Urbanity x Minni (Ages 6-11): June 22-26, July 13-17 and July 20-24 (full week or single day registrations available)

  • 9am-4:30pm, Extended Day Add-on 8-9am through Urbanity and 4:30-5:30pm through Minni.

  • For the full day option, students must be registered for both programs; for Urbanity’s Morning Program below, and Minni’s Afternoon Program through the direct Minni registration links here:

    • June 22-26 Minni Afternoon

    • July 13-17 Minni Afternoon

    • July 20-24 Minni Afternoon

  • Students who are joining for the full day and continuing at Minni will be walked over to Minni by Urbanity and Minni teaching artist chaperones (2–3 minute walk between studios).

• Full Day Kids Dance Program, Urbanity x Minni (Ages 3.5-7): June 15-19, August 24-28 and August 31-Sept 4 (full week or single day registrations available), 9:00am-4:30pm.

  • For the full day option, students must be registered for both programs, Urbanity through Sawyer links below, and Minni through their registration links below:

    • June 15-19 - Minni Morning; Minni Afternoon

    • August 24-28 - Minni Morning; Minni Afternoon

    • August 31-Sept 4 - Minni Morning; Minni Afternoon

  • Students participating in the full day program will be walked between locations by a staff member.

  • Extended Day Add-ons 8-9am and 4:30-5:30pm through Urbanity.

Intensives:

• NEW Mini/Junior Company & Crew Intensive Program: 7/27-7/31

  • Our new Mini/Junior Company & Crew Intensive Program is a unique training opportunity for our performing groups, including technique classes in multiple genres.

  • In order to register, students must be enrolled in either Mini Crew, Mini Company, Junior Crew, and/or Junior Company or planning to audition for the 2026-2027 school year.
