Teaching Philosophy: I hope to create a classroom experience that helps build an appreciation for hard work, a sense of mutual respect and support between students and teachers, and joy and wonder for the capacities of the human body in motion.

Bio: I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where I trained as a competitive gymnast as a child and then began ballet at age 12. After graduating high school I attended University of Missouri--Kansas City, Conservatory of Music and Dance, where I completed my BFA in Dance Performance in 2013. I joined Urbanity's Professional Company in fall of 2013 and have enjoyed the last thirteen seasons with the company. This is my 12th year teaching for the Urbanity School.
