Students learn the fundamentals of tumbling and acrobatics and work to develop increased strength and flexibility. Acro skills can supplement contemporary and hip hop techniques. One-on-one attention from the instructor guarantees that each student is challenged yet supported.
Improvisation is for students who are interested in deepening their exploration of dance techniques. “Improv,” the art of making it up as you go, helps students build confidence in their own unique movement styles, helping them to unlock the myriad possibilities of movement. Students will build a personal sense of artistry without the constraints of any specific technical vocabulary.
This semi-private, small group class provides a higher level of individualized attention for students interested in challenging themselves beyond their weekly technique classes. Students will build on technique class curriculum and have the opportunity to learn more advanced and nuanced movement.
