Kids classes for ages 4-11 provide instruction in various styles of dance including contemporary, hip hop, tap and acro, as well as the opportunity to participate in our performance ensembles: Youth Company and Hip Hop Crew. Students will work with a team of professional instructors and be surrounded by students from diverse backgrounds. Our curriculum explores the elements of dance in a supportive environment where students can develop strong technique, expressive ability and confidence. Urbanity strives to nurture young dancers to understand how anatomy becomes movement, movement becomes choreography, and choreography becomes performance.
