Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Devon Larcher received his training from Shannon O’ Brien School of Dance, and majored in the art at Dean College for two semesters. Upon leaving Dean College and having danced as a temporary member of Bill Evans Touring Company, Devon signed a contract with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as an aerialist and dancer for a season of international tours. After returning from the cruise, Devon decided to remain in Providence and dance with companies in the New England area. Larcher spent one season dancing with a small Contemporary Ballet company, Part of the Oath, and teaching at many local studios. Once the season ended, Devon then signed a contract with a local Modern company, Fusionworks Dance, and a Boston based Contemporary company, Urbanity Dance. He is currently still dancing and teaching with Urbanity Dance, along with teaching Modern, Acrobatics, Musical Theater, Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Separate from his dance career, Devon works as a living statue with a company based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Ten31 Productions.
