In Spring 2013, Urbanity Dance launched Dance for Parkinson’s, a program modeled after the successful program, Dance for PD, designed by Brooklyn Parkinson’s Group and Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG). This version aims to support individuals & caregivers affected by Parkinson’s Disease, while allowing them to experience the joy of a dance class.

Through weekly dance classes, this program will assist our participants through:

                    - function and mobility challenges

                    - improving the individual and caregiver quality of life

                    - the need for a community network

Hear what one of our participants had to say about her experience!
